LOS ANGELES KOREAN FESTIVAL
Created in 1947 by leaders of the early Korean-American community
Purpose of keeping Korean roots planted even after immigrating to the United States

Currently, in its 46th year, the Los Angeles Korean Festival has become a yearly event that promotes Korean culture and has become an instrumental platform where the numerous different cultures living in Los Angeles can come together, have fun and learn about a new culture.

Welcoming the different cultural communities in Los Angeles and offering free admission, the Los Angeles Korean Festival does a wonderful job in promoting the Korean culture as well as advocating cultural diversity, a characteristic that defines the city of Los Angeles. With the idea of multiculturalism in mind, the Los Angeles Korean Festival has grown to be one of the largest ethnic celebrations in the nation.

This is the South Korean flag. It can be easily distinguished with bold simple shapes.
Although simple in design these shapes have heavy symbolism.

Note: This project is speculative not for profit.
These three elements were used to create an abstract simplification of the South Korean flag. Blocks of colors used in this flyer will easily catch people's attention who may be walking or driving by.
